Sustainability-Related Disclosures of ATVANTIS Asset Management GmbH

Sustainability risks are events or conditions in the environmental, social, or governance domains whose occurrence could have an actual or potential material negative impact on the value of an investment.

These include, for example, physical risks resulting from climate change, regulatory changes related to the transition to a more sustainable economy, violations of labor or human rights, and deficiencies in corporate governance.

ATVANTIS Asset Management GmbH takes sustainability risks into account in its investment advice on the basis of information provided by the respective product manufacturers, capital management companies, and other product providers. In particular, this includes the information in the product documentation as well as the sustainability information provided for target market determination and suitability assessment.

The company does not conduct its own in-depth sustainability analyses of issuers or of the assets underlying a financial instrument.

Sustainability risks can have a negative impact on the market value and return of a financial instrument. The nature and extent of these effects depend in particular on the type of financial instrument, its investment strategy, and the underlying assets.

ATVANTIS Asset Management GmbH currently does not consider the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors within the meaning of Art. 4(5) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 in its investment advice.

The reasons for this include, in particular, the size of the company, the nature and scope of its advisory activities, and the currently still limited availability, comparability, and reliability of the sustainability data required for this purpose. A systematic and robust consideration of the principal adverse impacts is therefore not currently ensured.

The company regularly reviews this decision and will adjust the information should the actual or regulatory framework change materially.

Clients' sustainability preferences are collected as part of the suitability assessment. Where a client indicates sustainability preferences, these are taken into account when selecting and recommending suitable financial instruments, based on the available product information.

The consideration of individual sustainability preferences is distinct from the company-level decision described under item 2 not to consider the principal adverse impacts on sustainability factors.
